Q. What is the importance of the Ira Einhorn case in the annals of legal history?

A. I would guess the Einhorn Law (1998, PA) allowing defendents convicted in absentia to request a new trial. That's just a guess. From what I've read, it looks like his case was a hornets nest from the start...could be any number of things.

Why are environmentalist so violent?
Q. Take a look at the murderous co-founder of earth day. Ira Einhorn was arrested for murder March 28, 1979, the day the Three Mile Island nuclear plant accident occurred. Ira Einhorn, environmentalist, was charged with murder during the same period as one of the greatest environmental accidents in United States history. But the real irony is that more people died in the apartment of Ira Einhorn, co-founder of Earth Day than at Three Mile Island. The environmentalist killed more people than the so-called environmental disaster.

A. Don't forget the Una bomber and that guy that just made the top of the FBI most wanted list. Homeland Security had to put out the Right wing Extremist Report to try and balance the playing field. The right has their Veterans coming home and the left has their Freshmen going to College.

Would this be considered cruel and unusual punishment?
Q. All three have been convicted of murder: 1 - Ira Einhorn, Phila. political guru of the '70's. Killed girlfriend, Holly Maddox, hid her body in a trunk, skipped town, tried in absentia, found guilty. America's Most Wanted tracked him down in France. Extradited to serve life sentence. 2. Tom Capano - big shot Delaware lawyer, murdered Anne Marie Fahey, Gov. Carper's secretary dumping her body at sea. Sentenced to life. 3. Wesley Cook (Abu Jamal) - executed Phila cop Danny Faulkner. Sentence to death. All top media cases, all enamored of their own celebrity status. Would it be cruel and unusual punishment to put all three in one cell and tell each one that 'they' are the most important prisoner in the cell and see if their egos… [cont.]

Does Bipartisan mean 3 Republicans and the Democratic party?
Q. I am sick and tired of the GOP blasting away on Obama for dividing the country and not working with them. Well boo hoo. I say bipartisan now means democrats and 2 republicans. Specter is on our side now. Specter is a good man. He defended Ira Einhorn, earth day founder, in court and got him released on $40,000 bail. Check this out!

A. Rep's don't want to be bipartisan. They will vote NO on everything including health care that 69% of the American people want.

Can someone please pick at my essay, I want constructive criticism, things you would change,no matter how small?
Q. Oh, Honest Iago An essay on Shakespeare s Othello Jealously can turn a man into a monster. From serial killers like Andrew Cunanan, and psychopaths like Ira Einhorn, it has become evident that both in past history, and in modern society, jealously is often the stepping stone for horrendous acts. This concept is especially evident in Shakespeare s Othello, where Iago is the epitome of corruption. Iago is truly an evil and diabolical character. He is manipulative, deceitful, and a murderer. Iago is conniving. He takes advantage of those he befriends, and does not feel or openly show, true pity or remorse for his deeds. This is especially evident when he speaks of his plot to bring down Othello: "Let us be conjunctive against him. If… [cont.]

A. Riley, if you could email this to me as a Word document attachment, I'll make necessary changes and suggestions and send it back to you; this is too awkward, but your essay is already quite good. It's your choice.
